December 31, 2007 - - Work on New Building progressing rapidly. Electrical work almost completed; Tile work being finished up; Interior doors being installed; Baseboards and other trim to be installed during first weeks of January 2008.

Bob Pedigo and Mike Simpson appointed elders for the Lavonia congregation in a special ceremony led by its first minister, Uel Hester. Mike and Bob are both charter members of this no-longer fledgling congregation.
